INSTALLING ON UBUNTU: i cant browse the gta folder with sa-mp/wine (->hidden)
#1

hi,
i installed gta san andreas and the sa-mp. both work well, but i cant play sa-mp, because i have to browse the game-folder and unfortunately it is hidden! i know how to browse hidden folders on ubuntu, but here its different.

the path is: /home/hacksector/.wine/dosdevices/c:/Programme/Rockstar Games/GTA San Andreas
and here a screenshot where i can go with sa-mp/wine:

if the gta-folder werent hidden, i could see the ".wine" folder there and everything would be fine!

so my question:
how can i "tell" sa-mp where the gta-folder is?

i really need help,
thanks in advance!

SOLVED:
i just moved the gta-folder on the desktop, where i could find it with sa:mp. everything works wohooo
but i would also be intereseted in the answer, if someone knows how i could manage this without moving something, tell me.

thanks for your answer!
but i created the folder "Programme" myself for puting downloaded tools into it. so it has nothing to do with wine or its programms (gta, etc...).

edit: ok SOLVED i just moved the gta-folder on the desktop, where i could find it with sa:mp. everything works wohooo
but i would also be intereseted in the answer, if someone knows how i could manage this without moving something, tell me.

thanks

Press CTRL+H when selecting GTA SA directory on file explorer for show hidden folders.

I also play on ubuntu, at .wine/drive_c/Programa Files/Rockstar Games/GTA San Andreas and everything works fine
