Got it with windows 10 and I love it. Seems like Microsoft stepped up their browser game. Right now, a few apps don't support the browser (Battlefield plugin for example). I think this browser is faster and more efficient than chrome.


what is your opinion on Microsoft edge?

I will continue to hate IE whether it's been updated, renamed, whatever. I'll stick with my Firefox. :P

I think it's nice, a huge step up from past versions of IE and certainly warrants the name change they opted to do. I'll continue to use Chrome simply because of syncing, however. Chrome is about as heavy as it gets in terms of browsers anymore.

That thing may send out your e-mail passwords and browsing data without you knowing.

Windows is a privacy nightmare, especially 10. If you're looking for decent privacy, I'd move to a open-source OS that isn't trying to data farm everything. I haven't really read too much, but AFAIK the email app in Windows 10 is even fair game to them in terms of collecting data about users.

IE is nice but I can't gaurentee for working performance on/at work time. Any virus can fuck it up so easily and it will stop.

I've turned off all the data transmission. All they get from me are error reports.
I don't use edge, I use opera and chrome.
Maybe I'll use Edge to watch porn. If they're hungry for data, It'll give them something to chew on.
