Hey my friend was playing on my server from many days.. then when he created his server but i was not able to connect to him any guess why?

and, he has already change lanmode and announce to 1 so it cant be reason.... and i am connecting to his public IP from whatsmyip.org

Does the server has another players online? If not, probably he did not portforward the IP for the specific port he is using. Another issue would be connecting with a different SA-MP client than the server's version.

You need to port-forward if you want to play on a home-hosted server.

The OP's friend seems to have port-forwarded already.

I suspect you're using the wrong version of SA:MP. Please re-check with your friend.

Hello, i am using samp 0.3.7 and my friend is also 0.3.7...(actually i given him so obvious he is using same version)
so it cant be reason it will be some thing else!

EDIT: porb is not like i am not able to connect, when he give me IP it doesnt show Server name in samp client, it remains like Retriving info....blabla IP ?

Then he didn't port-forward or he might have give you the wrong IP address.

I'm guessing it's the first one.

Search for your friend's server there. In case if it is listed, there is obviously a problem at your SA-MP client.
