open your cmd console and enter "ipconfig"
now enter the gateway into your browser (e.g. 192.168.X.X)
Login into your router on the activated page. From here it can be different for each provider...
Search for e.g. network or ports or whatsoever...
If you've once found the port section, create a new port rule and use UDP as protocol and ofc select the device that is running the server as reference.

that's it...
if you can't find the section in your router's menu, you could take a look into the providers readme or so...
or just continue clicking around in the menu and search until you've found it

There is a tool for this, called "Simple Port Forwarding". It supports over 2500 different routers, so it's likeley that it supports yours too.

First, do you know what router you have? It should be on the back of the router.

Yes, we'll need the version, choose your Router's model and everything, and the program will guide you.

You dont need any third party programs. Open CMD, and type IPCONFIG. It'll show "Default Gateway" for your connection, along with an ip that will start with 192.168.x.x Most of the time, it's 192.168.1.1, or in my case, it's 192.168.0.1. You'll need to login to your router by going to that url in your browser. The password should be in the manual, if not, ****** "Default login for <Router make/model>" Once you log in, go to wireless, port forwarding. There may be some sub-tabs to go to to find port forwarding, it may also say "Port Range Forwarding" but it should be pretty easy to find. Your router may even have a search function.
