GTA SA wont start up
#1

Hello,

I just reinstalled my friends laptop, that im barrowing and just installed GTA SA and put the no cd GTA SA.exe in there.
However for some weird reason, it will not open up GTA SA, whenever you open it up, nothing happens, it shortly appears in the Task Manager and shortly after dissapears.

I have tried running in compatibility mode and as Administrator, havent worked.

Anyone experienced this before? I am running Windows 7 Ultimate x64

Make sure it is not running in compatibility mode, if it wasn't try to run it in compatibility mode for the Windows you have (XP,Vista,7,etc)

You can do this by: Right clicking GTA_SA going to "Properties" then the compatibility tab.
If they don't work click on "Run compatibility troubleshooter" and see if that works.

Try to delete gta.set

You can find it at user > my documents > Gta sa user files.
