Just to clear things up, I was a staff member over at Insomnia Roleplay (my name over there was Reggy). The script was great and the staff was not a mess. Wanted428 here just happens to be one of our regular rule breakers despite all the chances we gave him.

We launched with a very respectable amount of players. We peaked around 120 players on our opening day and had a steady stream of about 60-80 in the following weeks. In the staff team we were working out and testing different systems to add to the server while planning out our future updates, but unfortunately we quickly became victims of this stupid "DDoS" craze that has infected the SA:MP community. A group of DDoSers attempted to extort money from us to which we quickly refused for a number of reasons. They continued to DDoS us for almost two months, and with no server to play on we unfortunately had to shut down. We couldn't afford the kind of DDoS protection we needed because we were already trapped in the viscious circle - We needed donations to afford a protected server, but we needed a stable server that people enjoyed to receive donations, but we needed donations for a server.... You get the picture.

The site was up for a few more weeks for anyone who wanted to contact the owner Campbell for access to the script (which was one of the most innovative for RP servers I had ever seen) but has since been closed down. Sorry for the inconvenience everyone, and I sincerely hope this whole "DDoS" craze ends soon. It is a serious detriment to the entire SA:MP community.
