Hello there

I've never had to run the game as an administrator before. Yesterday I installed sounds mods, but I didn't like them so I placed back the original files. After doing this the game started up and I could see the 'San Andreas Multiplayer' screen but before the load bar appeared the game crashed. But when I ran it as an administrator everything worked fine. Now, I've reinstalled both GTA as SAMP and did a regclean and I STILL have to run it as an administrator to avoid crashing.
If anyone has a solution to this issue, I'd gladly appreciate it if you could help me out. Thanks in advance!

The reinstall with a registry cleanup is honestly about the best you can do. In my experience it would be more trouble than it's worth to try and debug this further. I would just run it as administrator. This is just one of those weird things you could end up spending countless hours on debugging when you've already found a solution to get around it. It may be an extra step in starting it up (Unless you permanently turn on "Run as administrator" in the program's compatibility options) but at least it works.

I have the same problem, I have long given up and just use Run As Administrator to use SA-MP. It has had an adverse effect on my gameplay though, I can no longer see textdraws ingame

Right click on Gta_sa.exe then go to proprties go to Compatibility there you should see a check box under Previlge Level "Run the program as an administrator" make sure its checked the click apply then Ok it will still run as an administrator but you don't have to Right Click on it Every time you want to play
