thats why, decades ago, the CTRL+S function got introduced to software, since scientists and artists wanted to continue their work on the next day. ergo: i consider "getting used to save your work" as a good idea.

...now i somehow cant wait for you losing a 10000 lines script, it could be on the news then: bolts and thunders over your house?

Save. Your. Work. Often.

S is always the first key on my keyboard to start becoming fault because of how many times I save things. Hell, I repeatedly push CTRL+S 3-5 times before I'm satisfied with it telling me it saved.

Notepad++ crashes for me all the time. I've lost quite some work before so now I make it a habit to push CTRL+S every 10 seconds or so. Actually, there's a plugin I installed that saves everything every 5 minutes, too. :P
