He's a political rapper, just like Lowkey, I listen to both. If you like immortal technique, listen to 'Soundtrack to Struggle'

My personal favorite "underground" hip-hop/rap artist is E-dubble. He doesn't rap about all the typical trash like money, sex, drugs, and killing. His work mainly focuses on life morals and major world issues. What attracts me so much is the variety in which he introduces his music; both a up-beat happy way, then in a down-to-earth sorrow way, and finally a style in between.
