Give it a try and try to run as admin.

That's actually not true, I'm running it perfectly fine on Windows 8, maybe you forgot to place that .txd file where you were supposed to place it?

Now working. Windows 8 updating my videocard bad version.
I downloading older version and now it working.

If someone having some problem, please update/download new videocard driver.
