VPS Specs for Two SA-MP Servers
#1

Holla SA-MP Members,

Im going to host two servers soon. Both will have 100 Slot Servers in the beginning. What i want to know is the best specs for a VPS for me according to my needs.

1. Two SAMP Servers (100 Slots)
2. 100 Players Online all the time.

What specs can be the best for the above mentioned needs.

If you can suggest a cheap VPS according to my needs. Help will be really appreciated!

Regards

I can provide you two free 100 slots servers, but you have to make me partner.
PM your skype id if you're agree

You just might need a VPS with 1 or maybe 2 GB of Ram but you will need a lot of Bandwidth if 100 Players are Online all the time.

2 samp servers should run perfectly fine with 256-1024 MB RAM depending a lot on the script.

100 players online at once would require about 1 TB of bandwidth monthly. Don't quote me on this, might be a bit more. Again, depends on the script. Teleports and lots of objects need more bandwidth than normal freeroam around the default map

#1 should be more than enough for the servers assuming they don't take much hard drive space.

I use http://domvps.com myself.

Then is that sufficient for my needs? What about 10 IPv6? do we need those for each SAMP Server?

Would you recommend me a Xen or OpenVZ VPS?

Used it before ? No, I have not. Trustable? If you're worried about them being SCAMMERS then dont, they're not. I can vouch for them regarding this, since one of my acquaintances has a VPS reseller plan with them and he seems to be satisfied. Downtimes ? Not aware of. They provide 100 % uptime SLA[Service Level Agreement]. If you still got your own questions, then hop to their website and start a live chat with one of their representatives and see for yourself. They may give a TRIAL, if you're seriously interested in buying from them.
