What do you mean "Without a router"?
If you have a modem, no Portforward is needed.

The default login for routers is generally admin/admin. Try accessing your router.

And, without router access, you cannot port forward.

Normally, all internet connections are routed through switches & routers. So, if you are in a home/office network, there are high chances of you being connected to a network router.

In the command prompt, use 'ipconfig/all' to know about your LAN. Try connecting to your 'default gateway' through HTTP (80) & Telnet (23). When you are asked for the login details, the router/modem model name/version is generally seen on the login box/prompt (telnet).

I get this error "This webpage is not available" "Error 312 (net::ERR_UNSAFE_PORT): Unknown error."

Find out your default gateway from cmd promt by typing 'ipconfig'. If you dont have a defaultdateaway then it will be some 000.000....so you dont need to portforward
