Me and my friends hosted a server but while trying to upload our gamemode 9 MB it just refuses to be uploaded
any ideas

Because the file hit the max upload size, you have to change it in the host's config.

9MB? Seriously? I'd perform some serious optimizations in your gamemode if I were you. My 20k lines (approx.; lots of source include lines) script is about 580kb.
