Hey, i was just wondering if mods can be used in SA-MP. I have seen 2 mods that i would really like to use
1: cam hack mod to get dashboard views in cars
2: graphics mod
If these mods dont work could u plz tell me which ones that do

i downloaded CLEO 4 and a custom camera mod but my game crashes when trying to join a server now D:, doesnt it allow cleo?

Cleo mods worked for me, I used camhacks and other cleo mods like Emergency Lights in a RP server. Are you sure that you installed it correctly?

all i done was installed cleo to the gta directory and placed Personalised FPD 3.3 into the cleo folder and it crashes on start up

SAMP Can basically use all mods without a atmosphere draw x10 mod or so. The Atmosphere draw mod x10 can draw your viewing distance like far. So you can stand from other cities looking at other cities without seeing the skies blocking.

Anyway, you can use every mod without the Viewing distance mod I mentioned. The best mod installers is IMG tool, GGMM(GTA Garage Mod Manager) and San Andreas Mod Installer. I fully recommend the San Andreas Mod Installer for for example using mods to trees and roads. It is pretty sad using IMG tool for changing like about 1000 different .dff and .txd files. I've changed all those in like 2-3 hours and it took time. However, when I found the San Andreas Mod Installer it was like a package you installed within 20 seconds and BOOM! The files were in the Gta3 file.

I would recommend Alci's IMG Tool instead, it has a better layout than IMG Tool. Anyways yes like he said, all kinds of mods are supported basically, some of them just need a tool which's name is not allowed to mention in here.

I've tried Alci's IMG Tool and basically it didn't work for me. Further more I had to reinstall the game thanks to the Alci's application.

well i have San Andreas Mod Installer, but the cam hack im using says it needs cleo 4. if i cant get it to work then i need to find one that doesnt need cleo, do u guys no of any cam mod that doesnt need it?

Yeah, well. It is different from person to person how a mod installer works. Like I've always said; The taste is like your ass and it is splitted in 2 parts.
