Try generating a hash using that, then making another using the same phrase, and comparing the 2.

There are plenty of MD5 hash generators on the internet. ****** search for one.

I doubt this is a MD5 algorithm. MD5 only returns letters and numbers, but this can might return any kind of ascii signs in the hashed string.
Also this is partially revertible, while MD5 cant be decrypted.
