Question

Hi'ya,

I just wanted to ask a quick question.

I have an old GTA San Andreas disk, with alot of scratches on. now, last time I installed it I had an error message. something like 'Data3 cab not found' don't know if it was 3 exactly, but it was similar.

Anyway, I had that message. So I installed it again this time everything was installed correctly(Says the installer)

And I just wanted to know if the datacab problem, even though it installed the second time. Can cause my game to freeze at certain times? stop loading , is it like PS2? If something is corrupted like the disk scratched. Because i've had some problems in sa-mp of this freezing I described above I have already posted a topic about it in client support and so far no answers. but im just wondering if it is causing this problems?

I'm just sick of this problem happening.

Thanks in advance, also is this a good section to post in? I wasn't really sure I just want some answers, anyway.

EDIT: Also the disk being scratched ? could cause these problems too ?

Take a photo of the disk and post it in here so we can see it.

Big ones cause errors while the computer reads the disc with a laser. Causes freezing. You might be able to not freeze IF You crack the game...
