I have had this program on my computer for quite some time now but only recently started using it.
I just wanted to know is it normal for this program to increase CPU usage so much? I get a 8% increase when it's enabled.
Also is there any alternate software that replicates Dreamscene with better performance?

Is that the program that allows you to put videos as your wallpaper and stuff?

Yeah that's right, it's a nice program but it seems to be a bit memory hungry.

I highly recommend you don't use windows dreamscene.
Download VLC player, play a video and right click it and press Wallpaper.
Oh and If don't see the wallpaper option
Settings > Preferences > Video > Output Modules > Direct X
Check the Advanced Options box in the bottom right hand corner.
Check Enable Wallpaper Mode.
And to loop the video use
Settings > Preferences > Playlist >Repeat All

I ******d 'dreamscene' yesterday, I didn't find what I wanted, and suddenly this topic appears.
Am I just lucky, or am I someday going to win 1 million dollars?
There's a software by Stardock that enables dreamscenes. There's also lots of beautiful and professional scenery themes to download from their site.
But I also suggest Mrkrabz way.
