Thousands of servers online and I get 13
#1

Hello,

I was recently directed to all this (SA-MP and San Andreas) by a friend and I get the game, install the sa-mp mod or whatever you consider it. I load it up and it takes about 3 minutes just to get 13 servers. I tell my friend this and he's like "Are you kidding? There are like THOUSANDS of servers!" So then i'm recommended to try using a proxy client and see if I can connect then. Which I can but not on every server. I've tried to join servers and I get a mix of banned messages and ISP banned messages. What.. does this mod or whatever hate everyone in nevada because ALOT of people where I live use Charter Cable. How is it that thousands of your servers have banned my ip range? I just got on this and spent plenty of time getting it all ready etc and i'm banned before I can even begin. This sucks and i'm wondering if you guys have any input on it.

Baning is up to the individual servers, I believe.

Someone in the same IP range, could be a well-known faggot (read: Wanna-be hacker) and douche (read: ban-evader).
Many servers also ban known proxies & VPNs, to reduce ban-evasion.
Which servers can you see by the way?

Currently there are 3559 servers online, so I can tell you that your friend is not lying.

Also, even if you're banned from a server, it should be displayed on your list. (I've only been banned once, and that was accidentally. I was still able to see it.)

Do you still only load up 13 servers, or can you see many of them now?
