Server isn't online [localhost]
#1

Hello there,

I am having problems getting a test server even online @ localhost.

My other server thats on the same computer "Red County RP", will be online if I use the samp-server.exe.

But when I use my test server's samp-server.exe, it isn't on the localhost list; or at least it won't show up.

Please help,

The Toni

what O/S are you using?

and when you first start the server, did a bix pop up? if you unchecked both boxes it wont broadcast locally or public.
but if you have the home box, or whatever its called it should work. but first, check the firewall exceptions/blocked

Win 7, and Yes it did, but that was a while ago. I can't remember if I checked both of them yet; I'll check my windows firewall.

Duplicates of the 7777 port, you would need to use an bind IPADRESSHERE or change the ports

I'll try; but just wondering, it wouldn't really effect it since I'm not running both the servers at the same time?

Still, if you are running at the same port from the same host [ IP ] the server executeables will crash together. and leaving one without connection to the world.
