Introduction
as noticed the new update(0.3b) has got a samp:// protocol.
very cool but what can you use it for?
Adding DeskTop Hotlinks to your favorite servers. or you can send your friend a link to your server, or post it a forum(Do not Spam!)
the format for the protocol is "samp://serveriphere".
so if you click me you will be redirected to my server.(not always online)
ready? understood? GO!

ingredients
I assume that:
-you know what sa-mp is.
-you have sa-mp 0.3b (latest RC recommended)
-you have a IP to add a hotlink to.
-you have windows(don't know for linux)
-and have a fair understandance of computers.

how to.
first of all we are going to create a hotlink
Press RMB on a empty spot on your desktop
choose new>>hotlink
a icon will appear and you will be lead to a wizard.
fill in the first screen of the wizard samp://youriphere.
so in my case it will be samp://84.86.18.147:7000.
click next
the next screen will ask you for your desired name.
when you filled it in click next.
voila a hotlink to your favorite server
when you did it right the sa-mp icon will apear as an icon for the hotlink.
