Many people with a server for to pay the host, works...propose this business ( ls-rp...).
To make it , there are a licence for to authorize and to modify the game concerned by Rockstar games or authorized by sa:mp for that?
SA:MP have also a business.
I want to know if we can make that. thanks

I hate to say it but i don't get what you mean, If your asking how do you make a "donation system" and if you need an "license" for it from SA-MP or anything along those lines than "No" you don't, You can make an donation system and people pay you anytime as it is not in the SA-MP Services Agreement .

Anyone can make a donation system on the internet
In some cases, you pay money in return for services.
As long as the services are not against any laws in the area, you're OK.

If you want to make a donation system for your server, you can.
You don't need any special permissions or such, just be warned: you have to deliver on the services you promise (if any).

I want to know if we can make that, because I use paypal, I inform my situation, but he ask:

-Please produce the title deed of the Game SAMP, indicating that in so much that owner you are entitled to sell the improvements of this game in mode multi-players.

-Please produce the license authorizing you exploitation and Modifications of the game concerned by Rockstar games.

But sa:mp is free and authorized by Rockstar games, I don't modifies the source of Rockstar games but i create a GM by sa:mp ( free)... the thinks paypal is bad informed... before to make that I want more infomations, thanks.

SA-MP isn't a single software package. There is a client, a server, and then services. The SA-MP server software and services (website/forum/server lists) are 100% owned by SA-MP. They do not require anything from GTA to run.

The license you have to run an SA-MP server is with us. Nobody will ever ask you if you have permission from Rockstar Games to run an SA-MP server. If they do, you can kindly tell them that no part of SA-MP server was developed by Rockstar Games. The SA-MP server does not, as far as we are aware, violate any trademark or intellectual property of a third-party. The network protocols and source code used have been designed by the SA-MP team.

You need to review the SA-MP license agreement and determine for yourself if what you are doing is within the license you agree to. You are not permitted to sell SA-MP, and we also do not permit profiteering from our work. Many servers do accept donations for running costs and we've never had any issue or made any complaints about this.

Using the SA-MP client software is subject to both the SA-MP license agreement and also your GTA San Andreas PC license agreement. We believe the SA-MP client software is acceptable for both distribution and use under the section on 'Modifications' in the GTA San Andreas PC EULA.

thank of yours answers.
I read the RG EULA, It's forbid to modify the software, sa:mp don't modify that so, it's completely legal. Really?
So when I have this question "Please produce the license authorizing you exploitation and Modifications of the game concerned by Rockstar games." I answer you are crazy i dont touch the software, I just use SA:.MP and I create, it's my intellectual property, so i can offer.

I don't believe there is any truth to what you are saying. Or maybe I'm not understanding your problem correctly. You haven't identified yourself as an SA-MP server owner or shown anything that looks like correspondence with paypal.

You are free to discuss this with me over PM where you can provide more specific details.

There are close to 3000 SA-MP servers running 24/7. Many of these servers accept donations via paypal to support their hosting costs and wouldn't be able to exist otherwise. They are not accepting donations for SA-MP, or for GTA:SA. I have never heard of paypal or anyone else having an issue with this.

If you are talking about the sale of an SA-MP script, that's a seperate issue. SA-MP doesn't support the selling of scripts as they almost always contain some script code that wasn't authored by the person selling it.
