I am not an expert of these machines but I think I know someone who has the knowledge and skills that may help you in this problem. I know this thread is quite old but I will try my best to contact that person. Next time we have to be very careful in using some machines like this.

I don't have any knowledge or idea about these machines also especially when they are destructed. That's why I take good care of the gumball vending machine, and I am very careful in operating it. However, there are many experts around that may help you.
