My PC dedicated Video memory problem
#1

What's up gang gang, i'm here just to ask a little question about my dedicated video memory because i think there's an issue in it...

My PC Specifications:

OS(Operating system): Windows 8.1 Pro,
CPU(Processor): Intel® Pentium® CPU N3510 2.00GHz @ 2.00GHz,
RAM: 8GB,
System type: 64bit,
GPU(Graphics card): Intel HD Graphics, i really don't know how many Gigabytes it have...

So here are some pictures...

So the problem is that as you can see in the first picture, there is 64MB of Dedicated Video memory while im having 8GB of RAM so is this normal? Because i heard that 'Who have 8 GB of RAM his DVM should be at least 512MB' so why it isn't happening with me?

Please useful answer only.

intel hd graphics is integrated on your CPU, it has no dedicated memory. A portion of your RAM is shared with it and software sees it as a "dedicated" memory. I think you can set this up in drivers somewhere, but not sure because intel graphics is crap.

8GB RAM should have at least 512MB VRAM? thats bullshit, there is no correlation between the two. get a real GPU if you want more. If you are on a laptop, RIP

You have only 64MB of Dedicated Video Memory and at last its Intel Integrated which means it shares the system memory as Video Memory, so it means even if you got 8gb of ram, your pc is still a potato.

He does not even have a GPU. Make sure you know what you're talking about before you make smartass remarks.

@OP:

You have no room to bitch about anything if you're using integrated graphics. They are not meant for gaming. If you want to play games, make sure you get something that's not integrated, or better yet, something that's not a laptop altogether.

Intel HD Graphics isn't the worst out there, but this Bay Trail chipset from 2013 with Intel HD is generally shit.
It's meant barely for office tasks like powerpoint, onedrive etc. Not games at all..

Intel's HD graphic isn't a GPU, it comes with CPU.
