Aye i know the default password for netgear is password and username is admin but it does not work i tried to reset it what i founded in ****** but it does not work i live in UK and i got virgin media and when i reset i go to routerlogin.net that i founded in netgear but still does not work.

i got WGR614v6 and its a wirless or home router but i made it home router and when i reset it it gives me a small wizard to write SSID some WPSK and password when i click Finish it ask me for password and username i wrote admin than password and nothing.

When you reset it, do you mean you put a CD in your computer and installed it there? That's what it sounds like. Also, did Virgin Media set up the network for you? They may have changed the default password.

Well now i do not put CD into it and last year i was using sitecom and it was perfect but it got shit and it didnt transfare whole internet to me than i remembered that i got Netgear router from Virgin Media and i tested it and i setted it up But it didnt ask me for password only for Wirless but i disabled it when i putted it and i putted username admin and password password.

I founded netgear website where it shows how to resert it i did but it didnt work and no Virgin Media didnt set up the router for me i did it by my self.

Router WORKS perfectly but i cannot get into router to port forward
