I just bought and downloaded GTS_SA. It's version 3. I want to play the multi-player version but everthing I've read says I need to be running ver 1 of GTA_SA. If I had ver 2 I could downgrade it to ver 1. But I don't see a tool to allow me to downgrade from ver 3 to version 1. What can I do to be able to run the multi-player version? Thanks, Stan

Thanks, SMX! I read the whole thread you linked to. I downloaed the downgrader software. But this is what it said when I tried to run it:

This patcher will patch the following versions of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas
=====================================
USA 1.01
USA 2.00
European 1.01
European 2.00
German 1.01
German 1.00


The version I have, ver 3, isn't on the list. Nevertheless, I tried to install the patch anyway but it didn't work.

Any suggestions for how I can play multi-player?
