PEOPLE THIS IS ONLY ABOUT THE BUG: GTA SA CRASHING AROUND ~80 PERCENT OF LOADING

There have been posted serveral topics due to the fact that sa-mp 0.3 (Beta) didn't seem to work,
Let me explain the following methods that have worked fot me several times with several betas.



This worked for me with the last betas,

simply just run both GTA_SA.exe AND sa-mp.exe in compatibilty modes like:

Method 2:
Windows Seven seems to have a function that can run installs with "recommenend settings", lets try it,
i couldn't find a direct portal to the "recommenend install" but this had worked for me:

step 1
Run the install executable (sa-mp-0.3-RC-*.*.exe (the * is replaced with the newest version)

step 2
Click cancel as your in the first panel of the install executable

step 3

the following window should popup:


just click yes

step 4

then a window saying:
"this program might not be installed correctly" window should popup
couldn't take a screenshot of it, due to the fact you cant run this twice.

just click install using recommenend settings

step 5

Run the intall like normal and try again

Disable visual themes

i've also heard things about checking the box "disable visual themes"
i didn't notice any help for my client but, what it basicly
does is disableling the AERO skin for windows 7, shouldn't bring any problems.

im not getting any "this program might not be installed correctly" window should popup
couldn't take a screenshot of it, due to the fact you cant run this twice. pop up.

windows seven has "something" that should be changed in the code that might make some programs not install correctly
so theres a function that runs the program in special compatibily modes that fixes this basicly, but i can take a screenshot of this window because it doesn't seem to work twice
