How is it possible to log the chat in my echo channel using an irc bot?
I need it to automatically log any chat in the channel, which is either form ingame or actually from people in the channel.
Also needing it to make a new log file for each day.
I've searched around and can't find anything really that gives me enough info.

Just join the irc chan with an irc client. The client probably has a log system

I can do that myself, joining and logging things. But im not on 24/7.
I need the irc echo bot to log chat and events and store them in the "scriptfiles" folder in sepperate log files for each day.
I know how to log the echo and events from ingame. But i want to log the whole chatroom.

How are you logging at the moment? You can make a PHP/Java/mIRC/etc bot, host it on a vps and just get it to log all chat. I'm not sure on the daily log files bit however.

At the moment i have only server logs from ingame events.
server_log.txt
I used pawno to make an irc bot and add my own commands into it.
I've never used php or java.
Is there a way in pawno i can make the bot log all the irc channels chat and events?
