Hi,

I work with putty to contact my dedicated server and to start and stop my sa-mp server from running.
A while ago i used Method 2 from 'Keep the server online' from this page https://sampwiki.blast.hk/wiki/Linux_Server.

This script makes sure my server will always be running by restarting or starting a new samp02Xsvr process, BUT it makes 2 many damn processes, so my server get's laggy.... I killed some processes in the past with "top" command and then "k" <pid> etc ...

The problem is now, i got 2 many processes running and I can't kill them because they keep restarting... (script does this). I tried 2 delete the script but that didn't work.

Anyone has experience with using this script on linux server? Pls help me out and tell me how to kill those processes xD

It's simple, kill the restarter.

Tried to do that as well, it's the process restart.sh I think but when I try to kill that one it also restarts I gess (they keep coming)


EDIT: It's all fixed , thnx to your clear answer I started once more to try and kill all of those restart.sh processes, they seemed to be with many xD when i got those killed, i started to kill the samp02Xsvr processes. Thnx for your help.
