Hi,
I finally bought SA for PC as it was on sale, can anyone tell me if I will be able to use SAMP with my version of the game? I downloaded it from game.co.uk, who use ztorm, and able to figure out that I have version 1.01 of the game, will it work at all?
While I'm here - I have also tried adding some cars to the game using both SAMI and the gta garage mod thingy, neither worked, is that because I have done something wrong or will my version of the game not support these either?
I will add that using the latter of the two the car models did change on the application but not in the game itself.

You need version 1.0 to play the game, so it should work. Just download the client and install it, if it works, it works. http://www.sa-mp.com/download.php

Mods can be installed on any version. Do you run the mod installer as an administrator? If not, do it and try installing again.
