Can i run a server using a laptop with windows vista?if yes how can i portforward in vista?

Please,give more information.
Do you want to players can connect to your server or it`s your
own home private server for testing scripts?
If you want to players can connect then you don`t must port forward your router.
You can use Hamachi network program and give it to your friends. Create new network on Hamachi
and then tell your friends to install Hamachi and connect to your network.You will get your
own Hamachi IP address.
If you want to testing scripts ,just run the server and add port of your server (server.cfg -> port) to your
Favorite list (default port :7777).
