Idea for linux
#1

Ok, well i have come up with an idea to make it run in wine . The only reason it will not run is because it will not load the custom login screen right? Well, what if we had that it self in a executable, so that it would not need to inject the custom login, and this way all of the linux users could get it to run . So is it possible?

It's an idea at least, I don't know if it's good or bad... It's too bad linux users can't play sa-mp

no, SA:MP can not run on linux, because to do that a d3d9.dll is needed.

SA:MP blocks d3d9.dll as it can also be used for cheats.

Can't it be somehow integrated?

But cheats go around this protection with no problem, so i think protection became useless, and should be removed.

True, there is a lot of cheats that bypass the protection, but the protection was removed in 0.22R3 I believe, its removal paved the way for much more cheats and exploits so it was put back on.

Anything that reduces the amount of cheat apps is a good thing.
