So I've just read an old thread about using ripped models on server, but my question still remain unanswered so I decided to make this thread..
So I just ran into almost all vehicles that are ripped from GTA 4 and now I'm wondering if it would be ok to use those cars to replace the GTA SA's ones. The server is RPG/DM and it wont use much ripped models, I just thought it would be cool to replace cars since I got pretty bored on the current ones...

I know it is possible but I wonder if it's ok? Like about copyright and such, I want to be sure my server wont be blocked if i include these cars...

I thought you couldn't add/replace vehicles with custom models?

To inform everyone about using models and textures from other sources for the SA-MP 0.3 DL version.
You are free to use every model and texture as long as the license is okay with that. If you are not sure whetever it's okay to use a model or texture, simply do not use it at all.
If your server is selling premium, it is commercial and you are only allowed to use a model/texture if the author said that it is free for commercial use.
As long as you do not sell any premium or other real-money-packages the model/texture only need to be free for pirvate use.
If you really want to use a model/texture, but you are not sure, you should definitely ask the creator (via emaill, contact formular or private message for example) if it is okay to use the model/texture on your server where you do (not) sell premium.
