Here you go.
It's an imaginary post apocalyptic world in which the population is split into 12 districts located in North America.
While the Districts live in poverty, the capitol is extremely rich and technologically advanced. In the past there was a rebellion that ended with the entire district 13 being destroyed.
The capitol organizes the event called The Hunger Games as a cruel continuous punishment for that rebellion. They pick kids from each district and they force them to fight until death.
The event is televised and if the audience favors someone, they are able to help them by sending care packages (the audience pays, and the organizer makes sure the delivery is made).
The Hunger Games became more relevant these days because of PUBG's massive success. It presents the exact same scenario where people have to run around and learn to survive in a massive arena.
I personally haven't read the books, but I watched the movies, and liked them very much. These movies were the main inspiration for the Blake Island map.
