RP servers....
#1

Most of the samp servers are RPG/RP/DM/TDM/Survival and stuff like that, and there are alot of servers from each type which makes it harder for new servers to succeed because each type has few servers that are famous and players prefer to play there instead of playing in a new server.
So my question is would it work if a new RP server is created with alot of nice and new and unique systems that you cant find in other servers or in alot of servers?
Would it get alot of players or will they still prefer another famous server that has been running for a long time?

Give it a shot, I'm doing the same thing and added some unique stuff.

E: People who put time and effort into serious servers will probably be less serious on your server, it must be known and have high standards of roleplay. I'd rather have 5 people who can roleplay than 50 people who can't. Just my thoughts.

Saturation means you'll struggle to find players, and thus being empty, no-one will be enticed to join.

You need something to draw players in and make them enjoy playing, even when there aren't that many on.

Happens in all games, if there isn't anyone playing, people simply won't join. Same goes for advertising servers, that if you don't get out there and get noticed, it'll simply be empty.

The reason people play the old server that has been running for a long time, is that they have 'everything' on that server.

Avoid RP... Make a brand new gamemode.

I remember when haystacks was an interesting mode...

Only if SA:MP won't be limited...

for example, I'm doing something like Arma 3 Wasteland on GT-MP which is multiplayer mode for gta 5, it allows me to control the NPCs and you can do alot of powerful things.

Wish I could do this on SA:MP but that will take alot of slots.

SAMP was never intended to have that level of functionality... So to make out that it needs to have more functionality to keep you going is daft considering players still play it.

of course it'll work, anything that has been worked hard for and made with effort works, but you gotta precise whats "unique" , cause, honestly, all new roleplay servers keep posting "unique , new ,never seen before, fresh..bla bla" and its all the same shit of a stolen script (no need to be the whole script stolen, can be an idea, design , principle) , so if you are planning to do that kind of unique , it aint work , so make something challenging, something creative, push the limits , and that .. would make it work , ofcourse with the other terms of success (patience , love what you create .. always update to the better and don't make fake updates , like making short-term small updates so you have something to do for the next update like all servers do now , atleast most of them, no , pull it all, )

and good luck

Unique and new features does not define success. From my experience, keeping the game sense how it is while adding on top of it is the way to go.

I am doing the same opening SA-MP server ,The thing i wanted to do for the last 4 years being planing with me squad and learning ,until we get it almost done ,But noticing that even the famous servers right now are losing players their pb is falling is something a bit scary for me to think that SA-MP is over party .

You're just overreacting. Of course a mod will eventually be forgotten about one day, but there are many players still around (even if half of them are dumb and young - or most of them at least).
