I'm using a DayZ script using NPC's. My server.cfg file shows maxnpc limit as 100, which means to get rid of the warning (The maxplayers limit is less than maxnpc) I'd have to change my maxplayers limit to 100. The problem is, my host is setup as 30 player slots. When I upload my server.cfg file, I'm afraid I won't be able to start my server because my maxplayer limit will have to be set to 30. What should I do?

Yes, one NPC take one slot. So when you have 15 NPCs on the server and a player connect then the player get the ID 15.
(ID 0-14: NPCs; ID 15: the player)

NPCs take one slot each, which means you won't have a good looking zombie server in a free server.
