Those games on notebook!
#1

Hey, I am about to buy new budget Sony Vaio supposed to run these games with minimum 50-60 fps on middle graphic settings - The Sims 4, Payday 2, GTA IV. Will I be able to?

Код:
Intel® Core™ i3-3217U
RAM 4 GB
nVidia Geforce GT740M
Can I count on GTA V flow on low?

Thanks!

I believe they will work fine. Including GTA V.

Don't buy a laptop if the primary focus is gaming. Actually, just don't buy a laptop if you do not intend to take it out of the house. "U" CPUs (Ultrabooks) don't even come close to their desktop counterpart and a GT740 isn't exactly a powerful card either.

As Vince said Laptops aren't for gaming. I only use mine for coding which is easier (for me anyway). Just buy a Desktop.

This laptop isn't targeted to gaming, but also I am not available to have PC so that's the reason why I decided to obtain notebook. Focused especially on browsing net but how we all know - everyone may would like to play sometimes - notably The Sims 4.
Here I got just a question, is those specs enough to run written up games to play sometimes not as primary target of having notebook.

GTA V doesn't have low graphics configuration. And I don't think you will be able to play it.
You might play other games you listed but very poorly.
If you want to get gaming laptop, you'll have to give more money for it.

Not sure about the CPU, would be better to get M series and 4 GB would probably be low for GTA V. GPU is fine tho.

You can play sims 4 just fine. The gpu intensiveness has been dumbed down since sims 3 so if my shittier card can run sims 4 you wont have a problem. But with gta iv on med native resolution 60fps? Nope. GTAIV has the worst optimization.

I currently have a Sony Vaio (Ultrabook series T) and it's pretty damn awesome. But I have windows 8 which is a pain in the ass (been using 7 from like a lot of time). It runs games pretty smooth but I can't guarantee running Sims 3 on high settings. Low works on mine, tho.

My opinion is the buy a desktop. If you are a moving person than you can just buy a laptop, but there are far more good gaming laptops than what you are looking on.

Just my own opinion yolo.
