United States has a lot of people too, but I think it'd be safe to say that russia is just full of hackers, along with people who love GTA... So that's why you see more of them.

Mostly because they're too poor to afford other games or hardware. I don't want to sound demeaning, but it's actually true. They make like Ђ 400 in a whole month and a single game still costs something like Ђ 50.

Im neither from the USA nor from russia, but IMO some of the best games ever are even older than GTA SA.

As Mauzen above said, there are some best games ever which are even older than GTA SA. One is Counter Strike which was founded in 1999 way older than GTA SA and it is the first-person shooter game which is still played by many people around the globe.

Yea, that's true, but honestly you will get bored after sometime, if you see Mauzen or you still play it and enjoy it, it's because you found something interesting in it (coding) so it won't be boring for you at all, I remember at 2010 that i joined SA:MP it was super interesting as it was the first multiplayer game I ever played, but now I enjoy games like Destiny or Dragon age more

China and India, has the highest population in the world, but the players from that country are very less, so we can't say that, "players depends on population ". So, it depends on the 'interest' of the players. That's all.
