I never really understood what this RSS crap does. What does it do, and why do so many people have it on their sites?

RRS stands for Really Simple Syndication and is a standardised methods for reading articles/newspostings/podcasts etc through a reader. Look up the wikipedia article if you want to know more.

and i used most of the free options on it. it will auto ping all new posts to a dozen services too, including digg, etc (it's not automatically adding it to digg, just automatically providing ping-tracking information should someone decide to add it). so there should ALREADY be a bunch of SA:MP related content (whatever you post) being made available to the blog community.

Kye, if you want me to transfer the FeedBurn over to you, create an account on FeedBurner, and I can talk you through how to transfer a burned feed. Or don't, whatev. It pretty much runs itself. But yeah, there's a ton of stuff you can add, change, tweak, etc.

i enabled the FeedBurner Awareness API on the feed...

also turned on "BuzzBoost" javascript... it'll show the last 10 posts on any page, and is simpler & lower-spec than the SpringWidget. You should be able to modify it with CSS too. here's the code:

I realize that, even without the all-caps, thank you. I decided to do something much more useful than the front-page RSS which updates like, 2-3 times a year.
