Hello. Well title is saying what kind a problem I have. Well I have dilemma which function or way should I use. So here is the story. I want to count all members of one squad in MySQL database. And should I use:

COUNT(*)

Or should I select everything from that table and exactly just take SquadID...Can you suggest me something I don`t know which way is better

Also I don`t know how to put result into variable. Can you tell me which function or way how to put result into variable?
