On screen gaming keyboard for SA-MP
#1

First of all, I love using my PS3 controller for SA-MP. It only lacks one thing though.
A keyboard.
On the PS3, when there is a text box, a keyboard window type of thing pops up. It would be cool if something like that were available for Windows, so when the T key is pressed, a keyboard pops up. This keyboard should be fully compatible with the joypad/controller, so I can use the D-PAD or Analog stick to select and enter keys.
Any ideas, anyone?

Can be scripted by the server, i dont see why not.

Some textdraws, then either sending the text to the local chat or redirecting the matched CMD

Program is here.
Look up a ******* video for more instructions, like GTA SA specifics.

Hmm yeah, but no servers are ready to take ideas from players. And, very less people use controllers for SA-MP.. so :\.
But it's a good idea.

You can buy a USB PS Controler.

It would be useful to only require a single piece of hardware to play. As stated above however, the need for this is low considering not many people use joy-pads. This will likely lower it's priority, so I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Considered the PS3 keyboard attachments as an alternative?

You use the charging cable and connect it to your PC.

Yeah, but if the solution were as simple of using Windows On-Screen keyboard in a full screen game, whenever I pressed T, that would be just enough.
Besides, where can I get one of these for cheap?
