Also MTA requires you to download a bunch of stuff before joining, which for me just ruins the experience I'd rather not have people see mods than have to wait for a few minutes before joining.

That's right, I don't like to wait before playing a server

Do you want custom objects? Use SetObjectMaterial.

Vehicles, skins etc. should not be modded, SA-MP is "click and play" . Not "click and download a 600mb file before you join my god damn server." I am not supposed to wait 15 minutes to join a server, It's stupid.

GTA San Andreas loads the models client side. The Server itself cannot implement such mods because they are stored on your computer. The only way to possibly get around this that I can think of at the moment is to have everything load server side. However when you do that you would have to have a great connection, as instead of simply transmitting some text and small things between the client and the server, you are transmitting a whole game.

Because we should still see it's GTA San Andreas.
If I remember right Kalcor have said it in some post.
Plus it will take ages to download the files.

Hope this will never be added

I have really bad PC and I have around 25 fps when there are 5-6 vehicles, if I see moded vehicle I woudln't be able to play at all because of huge lag.

And someone could make crasher with this function.
