I have been reading some great philosophy texts and a question that has risen since Ancient Greece is still about in this day and age. That question is: Why do we help people? Now, I am asking this question regarding only for this world, the forums of SAMP. The great philosopher Plato said that we help people because of the reward that we get from it and there's nothing logical pushing us to be helpful. So, since I have to write a paper gathering different people's thoughts from different backgrounds, I ask this question here: do you help people just to get reputation or just because you feel good from the deed?

Someone who plasters "Rep me if I helped ))" on every post is obviously looking for reward, possibly to post a server advertisement or possibly just because they like the number on the left of their post, who knows.

A lot of users just do it because they want to help people. There is nothing wrong with that, obviously.

About me, i help people because i want to (usually when i am bored and i don't know what to do ), and i don't really care about reputations or whatever..
