Hi,

I have been playing SA-MP for ages, but I have never experienced this before.
> I install GTA SA. (from a disc)
> I install CLEO and drag the CLEO memory fix to the CLEO folder.
> I use the downgrade patch
> I install SA-MP

I honestly don't think it has anything to do with the CLEO (I have tried to connect to a server without CLEO and it still crashes) and I don't know why it says unknown game version in the opcode, because I have used the downgrade patch from the SA-MP homepage.
PS I do not have or use any mods!
When I start SA-MP and join a server it just crashes and I get this opcode:

Delete gtasa.set if didn't work create a new user account in ur pc also run it as admin

I don't really see anything in the provided stack dump from either GTA:SA or SA-MP. That makes me think it's either mod or something outside the game.

You should try a clean install to a new folder. Downgrade GTA:SA and test single player. Reinstall SA-MP. Make sure the GTA:SA path is set to the new folder in the Tools > Settings menu of the SA-MP server browser.

I have already re-installed GTA San Andreas and changed the directory. I will once again try to re-install it and see if singleplayer works!

Alright so I finally got SA-MP to work properly. During the previous attempt I changed the directory of the game AFTER I had installed it and this time I just installed it into another directory right away. I still have one issue though: the quality. Look at the screenshot below, how come I get this quality? I have a brand new PC with a GTX 660 2 GB, so I really don't understand why I get such poor graphics. (Running the game at 1680 x ...)
This is just an example server, I'm not trying to advertise this server in any way.

It looks like 16bit colour depth. Change the resolution in the game to 1680x1050x32 and restart GTA.

Easy fix delete the whole GTA USER FILE FROM THE DUC'S

Alright I tried 1920 x 1080 x 32 and it looks much better! Just one more question, does the game look really 'stretched' to you or do I just have to get used to it? (Went from a small monitor to a 27 inch TV/monitor lol)
