SAMP not working on Windows 7 - Single player comes up???
#1

I've just bought and downloaded GTA_SA from the website "Game" and after installing SAMP, when trying to connect to a server the game plays in single player mode. I have tried to download the patch to get it to work however when I click on the file destination it says that gta_sa.exe is an unknown version. The version is v1.01 and I'd really appreciate some help to get SAMP working. Many thanks.

If its in a different directory, find gta_sa.exe there. If not, just find a different patch.

I suggest you to delete your "Gta san andreas User files" and then open samp and locate your Gta.

This also happens to me in Windows 8. And I bet this error comes up:
The file d3dx_9_25.dll does not exists. (Or whatever file it is in your comp.)
Or something similar. Then it opens up single player, which is weird.
I have fixed this problem by first downloading that .dll file, then I downloaded
something, about which I forgot. Sorry that I forgot the next step, I am
writing this reply from my tablet, but as soon as I can go and use my
computer, I will tell you how to fix this problem(with history xD)
If you want, then I will tell you in PM how to fix this prob.

Well, a really easy solution is to re-install SA-MP. You can download it here.
