SA-MP Client in other languages
#1

Hello, I recently made a Spanish translation of the SA-MP client, but according to the rules prohibiting any alteration could not modify the original client, do not you think you should admit the translation of at least the languages listed in the forum ? The translations would be carried out by the users of each section and send the content to the Beta tester to check that it is correct, you can add links to download from customers in other languages on the official website. All Games magnitude of SA-MP would have to be translated into different languages.

I do not see the point with making clients with another language. I cannot believe it is so hard to understand English or the client. Honestly it is easy to just see the icons what they mean, so no I do not see the point with translating it. ****** translate is more than enough if you need to search up some words. I guess the only thing you will do with the sa-mp client is adding server, delete servers and click connect to servers by the client. So no I won't support this.

I agree, and it isn't much to read there...

But if you still want this you could pm a admin and see what they say, if they reply...

Iv'e thinked about another thing!:

It would be very good if you could see wich

You seem to have a minimal grasp on the language yourself, perhaps the SA-MP client could be in a language you understand more... At least if you're going to be condescending about knowing or not knowing a particular language, you could at least try to demonstrate that you know how to use it correctly yourself.

Back to the matter at hand, I think it is a good idea but possibly not needed. It would certainly make SA-MP more accessible to perhaps a minority of people who couldn't navigate the current version of the client due to language restrictions - although I'm sure the number of people who had any level of difficulty using the SA-MP client have since resolved those problems and are playing quite happily.

Maybe he should download the chinese client (it DOES exist) and see what the topic starter means.

I myself suggested this a long time ago. Having clients in different languages (at least the most common ones, like Spanish) wouldn't be a great effort if any of us just sent the translated texts to Kalcor so he has to just add them.

I think it would be fair that the client has multiple supported languages. I'm sure that would be nice for people not native in the English language. Although, it doesn't hurt to learn English!
