Basically, I'm asking every owner who started a server how they got it popular.
I've tried Server Advertising, But most of the times I get caught. Also, I've put up a website, Got the server hosted. Anything I can do to get my server out there? Any suggestions? I know there's a Server Advertising thread here, But Sadly I don't have 5 Reputation.

Here's a few:
-Ask for beta testers
-offer rankings or rewards
-give it time,people will come
-have people remain afk, so it seems like theres more people on
-Advertise (lightly) in your signature
-help out other people that need help, perhaps you'll get it in return
-talk to people in the forum, tell them about your server (dont advertise, just mention it)
-be friendly
-invite friends
-invite friend's friends
-be social in the forums
-be active in the forums
-mention it in popular servers (could be risky, dont advertise it)
-if you become partners with someone in a similar type server, mention your server (dont advertise)
