Ok so when i first installed GTA San Andreas i used SAMI (San Andreas Mod Installer) which was a stupid idea on my behalf because i wasn't sure where it was installing files to or what it was doing. Now that i have created mods and edited graphics and weapons, i use gta3.img to change files and rebuild the archive. However i deleted SAMI and its backups and my weapons are appearing white. If i reinstall GTA to a different folder the weapons load up to there defaults and aren't white but i was wondering what files it is that is making this "White Gun Bug". It only appears to be my Uzi, Tec-9 and M4, I've changed the Uzi, Tec-9 and M4 .dff and .txd files but there is no success and i don't want to reinstall a new GTA as it only replaces my files and i can't start over as my gta3.img file is 2GB and it would take days to find everything again so i'm woundering if anyone knows what files is doing this?

It's basically the problem of the texture files imo.
If you sure you have the back up files of these guns, you can replace them. Otherwise, it's possible that your "back up" files are actually the mod files.
The easiest way will be installing another SA and replace those guns.

Thread closed i found out that i already had the modded files not removed. I had M4.dff and like m4.txd, they weren't replaced due to they didn't have capital letters =.='
