Why cant i host my SAMP Server?
#1

Ok so i have followed many ******* tutorials and i have a good understanding of hosting a server. First off i have many servers and they all work fine on my 127.0.0.1:7777 connection (:7777 is the port for SAMP). So i typed into ****** whatismyip and it came up with an ip address for others to connect to, now when i add this ip i can't connect. So i went to 192.168.2.1 which is my Belkin routers homepage and i port forwarded the :7777 ports, i also added the information to my firewall (i'm so desperate my firewall is off now =.=). I have used a program which said my ports are activated and working, now for some reason i still can't connect neither can my friends what is wrong?

Like i said... i have a good understand of hosting a server. Obviously www.ipchicken.com will come up with the same result as www.whatismyip.com (Except it says Remote Port: 50237). So my External IP is 101.174.163.156 for people to connect to and yes i portfowarded TCP 7777 and UDP 7777 but i don't know why i can't connect on 101.174.163.156:7777 but i can on :7777 and 127.0.0.1:7777 and thanks for the replies.

Tip; Buy a server...Don't waste your time risking your IP for hosting a server..It's not worth it trust me

Use http://www.canyouseeme.org to see if their server will be able to connect to you.

It`s better to have a host. Since when you open tour ports you can ruin, as you asked, you router because all players will join that IP. Thats not the only reason, your server will be constantly having lag (depends of your connection). It`s recomendend to buy a space in a good host
