hello there

im having trouble trying to play SA-MP on my windows 8, when i connect to a server it just takes me into the main game of SA, ive installed and reinstalled the game and the SA-MP 03x but it still takes me to the main game (SA)

please can someone help me

Yeah you need to downgrade from GTA SA 2.0 to 1.0, download it here http://www.gamefront.com/files/files....0_to_v1.0.rar

Remember to run it in kompatiltets state windows 98 else the game doesnt work.

No, just no. It will only screw up your menu if nothing else.

The game should work just fine as long as you make sure your GTASA is v1.0 EU or US, doesn't matter which and you have installed SA-MP in the correct folder.

I had precise same problem when i bought win 8. I fixed it this way. Sure there will be some problems, but that is due to the OS, filepermissions. And no it wont screw anything up. Its wirk perfect to me, if you cut of the normal problems like filepermissions.

The problem is not the version. If you anyway had windows 8, then you would know the bug by running sa-mp on windows 8. The only solution is that i said. Sure you also need to downgrade to v.1.0, but thease problems is due to the OS, not the gta version.

Well if you got 2.0 then you of course need to downgrade it, but this bug have nothing to do with the version of gta san andreas. Anyway 2.0 should always be downgraded if you want to use it for sa-mp, but this is a problem with the OS.
