Question: What is the first thing you look at before joining a community?

Forgive me if this has been asked already, but I'm a fan of fresh topics!

I want to hear YOUR opinion on this matter.

In order to avoid this thread being deleted, please do not post any server IP addresses. Posting of URL's is fine, as long as there's a valid point to doing so.

I look at the English of the server owner. If it's fail, /q! May seem harsh, but I hate server owners who are like "YES nExt Update SOOooon"

I add IP and I visit the forum before joining to see how it's organised and then if I like it I join.

I appreciate kind people that want to talk and I don't like servers full of not properly parked cars and bikes, trash and full of unneeded mappings.

My perfect server would be around 40 playerbase with low amount of custom mappings and properly organized.

No just kidding, I first look at their website if they have one. Doesn't matter if its free, but how they manage it.

Thanks for the responses so far, guys!

Website address. May seem kind of snobbish, but servers with websites on freeforums.org, smffy or whatnot generally don't live for very long.

Nice website design, and a cool gamemode on their servers.

... and you know what they say about judging a book by its cover.

"Always judge a book by its cover."
